FOX POINT – Liz Sumner, candidate for the Wisconsin State Assembly, District 23, today issued the following statement:

“Liz Sumner is the Sierra Club‘s choice for 23rd Assembly District because we know she will work to protect our environment for Wisconsin families. Liz’s commitment to conservation and fighting climate change stands in stark contrast to Jim Ott‘s appalling voting record for big polluters. The Sierra Club is proud to endorse Liz Sumner and we will work hard for her election to the Assembly,” said Dave Blouin, Sierra Club State Political Director.

“I’m honored to have received the endorsement of the Sierra Club. With the environment being a top issue in our district, and across Wisconsin, I look forward to having the Sierra Club and its members promoting good public policies and helping us restore values that are reflective of caring for our environment for generations to come,” said Liz.

Liz Sumner is a resident of Fox Point, a small business owner, a current member of the Fox Point Village Board, mother of two young children, and is running to represent the 23rd Assembly District in the general election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
