Senator Taylor Questions Well-being of Immigrant Children

"I'm deeply concerned that some of the children who have been dragged away from their loved ones may have been detained in our state."

(MADISON) – This eventing Senator Taylor (D-Milwaukee) contacted Wisconsin’s Department of Children and Families (DCF) with some questions regarding the news that 2,300 immigrant chhildren, separated from thei Families by the Trump administration, are eing detained in 17 different states.

Senator Taylor released the following statement regarding her concerns for the children that have been separated from their families:

“I’m deeply concerned that some of the children who have been dragged away from their loved ones may have been detained in our state. I’ve reached out to DCF tonight to first, see if we have any of these children, second, understand where they are being held, and finally, to make sure that we have specific information about their parents so that we can reunited them as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
