School Choice Wisconsin Action Applauds Bipartisan Votes
WEST ALLIS – The Wisconsin Senate and Assembly approved legislation Tuesday to significantly increase funding for students in Wisconsin’s parental choice and charter programs. The proposal (SB 330) was approved in the Senate and Assembly on bipartisan votes.
School Choice Wisconsin President Nicholas Kelly responded to the news with the following statement:
“An overwhelming and bipartisan majority of legislators showed Wisconsin that they support expanded educational opportunities for families and believe that all students have value. We owe them a debt of gratitude for their leadership and perseverance and look forward to thanking Governor Evers upon his approval.”
