MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin Bike Fed announces the return of the popular Santa Cycle Rampage on Saturday, December 4, 2021, in partnership with OnMilwaukee.com

The 17th annual fundraiser features a new 10-mile route that begins and ends on Robinson Avenue in Bay View just outside the Bike Fed office and Wheel & Sprocket store. Full event details are provided on the Santa Rampage event webpage.

Participating cyclists are encouraged to wear holiday-themed costumes for the “slow roll” style ride that leaves at 9:15am and returns at approximately 11am. The route is posted on google maps and is subject to minor changes until December 4 pending potential road or weather factors. There are no scheduled stops; however, participants may choose to leave the ride anytime they wish and are encouraged to visit supporting businesses on the Santa List post-ride.

Wisconsin Bike Fed assistant director and event coordinator Jake Newborn shares that “Santa Rampage is the world’s largest holiday-themed costume group bicycle ride for charity” and that the Bike Fed “is glad to be back and riding together in the winter wonderland again” after a year off due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

Biking to the event is recommended. If driving to the start/finish location, on street parking is available along Bay Street east of Kinnickinnic Ave or on South 1st Street.

Information, ticket registration, merchandise, and the opportunity to donate are available at WisconsinBikeFed.org.
