Sale of the Shoppes at Brookfield Commons

The Colliers |Wisconsin Investment Services Team has closed on the sale of the Shoppes at Brookfield Commons, a premier shopping center located in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Colliers represented the seller, and secured a buyer, a private Illinois-based real estate company, for the company’s first acquisition in Wisconsin. The buyer and seller split the defeasance of the CMBS loan at closing.

The Shoppes at Brookfield Commons is a 42,356 square foot shopping center located at the intersection of W Bluemound Road and N Moorland Road, two of the most traveled roads in the area. The sales price for this transaction was $9,165,000. This sale was unique as the center is 40% vacant, however the current tenant mix features a number national and regional tenants, including Chipotle, H&R Block, and LasikPlus, offering the buyer significant upside.
