Rob Meiksins Retires As CEO of Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee

The board of directors has put a transition team in place to ensure that the business of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee continues to move forward.

Milwaukee, WIThe Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee announced today that Rob Meiksins has retired from his role as CEO. The board of directors has put a transition team in place to ensure that the business of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee continues to move forward. This team will begin a search for an interim executive who will lead the operations of the organization until a permanent executive is hired.

“We thank Rob for his service to the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee, and we wish him well as he begins this new chapter,” said board president Christina Simon. “The Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee has been serving our community for 50 years, and we look forward to continuing to bring important trainings, tools, and resources to our nonprofit partners. We have assembled a skilled transition team to oversee the work of the agency, and lead the search for a new leader.”

The Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee is a catalyst promoting the interests and enhancing the effectiveness of the nonprofit sector in southeast Wisconsin. Its vision is to create a vibrant and healthy community strengthened by a thriving nonprofit sector.
