Representative Snodgrass Voted by Colleagues to Serve Second Term as Sergeant At Arms
MADISON, Wis. – Today, Assembly Democrats unanimously voted for Representative Lee Snodgrass (D-Appleton) to serve as Minority Caucus Sergeant At Arms. Representative Snodgrass released the following statement:
“I am so pleased to be re-elected to caucus leadership as Sergeant At Arms. Our leadership team (all unanimously re-elected) has navigated through a successful campaign season together, retaining crucial seats and saving the veto. Together we are ready to tackle the upcoming challenges of legislating in an increasingly divided body on behalf of Wisconsinites who want a vibrant economy, safe communities and strong schools.”“While Assembly democrats may hold a minority position in the legislature, we represent the majority of Wisconsinites who wish to have reproductive rights, legalized marijuana and gun safety. Democrats will continue to introduce and fight for legislation that creates a strong, safe, and equitable Wisconsin for all.”
