Representative Snodgrass, Legislative Democrats Introduce Comprehensive Pro-worker Bill Package
Madison, WI – Today Legislative Democrats introduced a comprehensive package of pro-worker, pro-labor bills “Build A Stronger Wisconsin” at the State Capitol. The bills address prevailing wage, worker misclassification, project labor agreements and repealing “right to work”.
Representative Snodgrass released the following statement.“ As former Minnesota Senator, Paul Wellstone once said, ‘We all do better when we all do better’. Today’s package of bills does just that. While my Republican colleagues are focused on fundraisers on yachts, legislative Democrats have been hard at work addressing issues to ensure good jobs, fair wages, and workplace safety. The middle class is shrinking under disastrous economic policies at the federal level and instead of more tax cuts for the 1%, we need to focus on policies that uplift the middle and working class and support Wisconsin’s economic growth through strong union jobs and pro-worker policies. I am proud to join my legislative Democratic colleagues on these bills offering real, tangible solutions.”
