Rep. Robyn Vining Receives Gaylord Nelson Human Services Award
MADISON– Representative Robyn Vining received the Gaylord Nelson Human Services Award from WISCAP, a statewide network of poverty fighting agencies. The annual Gaylord Nelson Human Services Award recognizes a Democratic lawmaker for outstanding support of Community Action and low-income families. Representative Vining was nominated by the Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin, which serves people in Waukesha, Jefferson, and Dane Counties. Representative Vining released the following statement:
“Being elected as a legislator is a signal of public trust that I will work to make life better for all Wisconsinites. It is my hope that I serve the public in a way that honors this trust. I am honored to have my efforts recognized by the Gaylord Nelson Human Services Award from WISCAP, and will continue to work to create a better Wisconsin for everyone. Forward, together.”
