Rep. Moore Statement on the #TrumpShutdown

Washington DC – Congresswoman Gwen Moore (WI-04) released the following statement in response to the partial government shutdown, which began at midnight:

“President Trump’s tantrums have forced the nation into political and economic chaos. His behavior and this shutdown are inexcusable. A reasonable, bipartisan compromise has already passed the Senate. For the sake of our nation and the good of the public, House Republicans and President Trump need to do their job, fund the government, and put an end to this mess.”
