Rep. Lisa Subeck Joins Governor’s Call to ‘Get to Work’ for the People
Democrats are ready to put people first on Wisconsin’s road to recovery
MADISON – Governor Tony Evers gave his third State of the State Address virtually tonight. In the speech he called on the Legislature to address the major issues facing our state. Representative Lisa Subeck (D-Madison) released the following response to the Governor’s address:
“In his speech tonight, the Governor highlighted the importance of coming together to work for the people of Wisconsin. In the face of significant challenges, Wisconsinites expect their elected leaders to do all we can to improve the lives of working families and to help our communities recover from the pandemic.
I look forward to working together with Governor Evers to get things done for the people of our state. From addressing the COVID-19 virus to supporting our small businesses and from ensuring fair electoral maps that put the power of democracy squarely in the hands of the people to implementing a strong plan for economic recovery from the pandemic, I remain committed to working together for the good of Wisconsin.”
