Rep. Cruz Reacts to Governor Evers’ Biennial Budget Address
MADISON – Today, Governor Evers delivered his biennial budget address, highlighting Wisconsinites’ priorities for the upcoming 2025-2027 budget. In response, Representative Cruz (D-62) released the following statement:
“Governor Evers outlined his budget tonight, and he dedicated a significant portion of it to addressing the crises our public schools face. The Governor has declared 2025 the ‘Year of the Kid’, and I wholeheartedly commend this effort. By funding public education, making it easier to raise a family, lowering housing costs, and more, we can make our state a better place to grow up, learn, and live.“I am looking forward to connecting with my neighbors, community members, and constituents about education funding, Medicaid expansion, shared revenue, and housing solutions. As the representative for the vibrant 62nd district, I will do all I can to fight for these improvements, and many more. It is imperative we do better by working class Wisconsinites and kids.”
