Rep. Considine appointed to new state committee

Madison – Rep. Dave Considine (D-Baraboo) was recently appointed to the newly-formed Assembly Committee on International Affairs and Commerce. Today, he issued the following statement on his new position:

“More and more industries in our state are becoming significant players in our international economy. I am proud to bring my experience in agriculture and education to the table on this committee and excited to see the innovation that grows from this opportunity. I also want to thank Rep. Hintz for nominating me and Speaker Vos for approving my participation. I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle, including the Chair Rep. Steffen and Vice-Chair Rep. Barca, to explore the global issues that affect Wisconsin.”
