Quadruple shooting leaves man dead, family grieving

Statement of Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II August 23, 2024

By - Aug 23rd, 2024 12:50 pm

A quadruple shooting early Thursday (August 22) morning at N. 40th St. and W. North Ave. in the 15th District left a 38-year-old man dead and three others wounded.

This act of senseless and deadly gun violence is unimaginable and I condemn it with every ounce of my being. Using violence to settle conflicts is unacceptable and I have consistently urged people to get themselves away from situations where there is even a remote chance that a conflict might escalate to violence. Very simply, this deadly gun violence must come to an end!

My sincere condolences go to the loved ones and friends of the man who was killed and I pray for full healing and recovery for the surviving victims.

Milwaukee Police continue to seek a known suspect. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Milwaukee Police at (414) 935-7360, or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (414)224-Tips or P3 Tips App.
