Pizza Man to Sell Specialty Pizza to Raise Funds for Children with Critical Illnesses

(MILWAUKEE, WI) – F Street Hospitality is proud to announce the newest nonprofit benefiting from Pizza Man’s In Dough We Grow initiative. In Dough We Grow partners with local nonprofits each quarter to raise funds for child-focused charities. Make-A-Wish Wisconsin is this quarter’s beneficiary.

Make-A-Wish Wisconsin and the community helps grant wishes to children living with critical illnesses. Since the Wisconsin chapter was founded in 1984, more than 7,500 Wisconsin families have experienced the power of a wish, resulting in many turning points in the fight against their illnesses. More than 500 children are waiting for their life-changing wishes to be granted through Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. According to a recent wish impact study, a Make-A-Wish experience leads to increased emotional and physical health for wish children.

“Make-A-Wish is honored to be part of this special program,” said Kelsey Rice, Corporate & Events Manager of Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. “Creating the pizza was such a blast for Wish Kid Chelsea, whose wish to go to Hawaii was granted a few years back. We look forward to the community trying this amazing dish – all while helping make wishes come true for more children like Chelsea.”

Make-A-Wish Wisconsin representatives and Wish Kid Chelsea collaborated with Pizza Man chefs to create the ‘I Wish For More Bacon’ pizza, which features Pizza Man’s classic sauce, pepperoni, bacon, cheese curds, cream cheese, and parmesan cheese. This specialty pizza will be available at all Pizza Man locations through December 31, 2022. 100% of the proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.
