PEARLS, Bader Rutter, and TEMPO Present a Special Screening of the Award-Winning Documentary Direct Positive and Host Leadership Panel
MILWAUKEE – Feb.17 – PEARLS for Teen Girls is proud to partner with Bader Rutter and TEMPO for an exclusive screening of Direct Positive, an award-winning documentary that explores the power of women’s leadership through the unique lens of tintype photography.
Direct Positive challenges the constructs that exist for women, people of color, and marginalized communities in leadership. The film showcases how removing filters—both literal and metaphorical—reveals the strength, authenticity, and resilience of women leaders. Since its premiere in April 2022, the documentary has been honored at five national and international film festivals and has sparked DEI conversations across the U.S. and Europe.
Following the screening, a panel discussion will be moderated by Jen Dirks, CEO of TEMPO, with insights from Sarah Kmet-Hunt, Executive Creative Director at Bader Rutter, and Kate Martin, Associate Creative Director at Bader Rutter. Together, they’ll explore how we can continue to uplift women in leadership and drive meaningful change.
This free event is open to the public, with limited admission for 50 attendees. Food will be provided, and parking is available onsite and on the street.
