Passing of Rep. John Lewis and Rev. C. T. Vivan

In 2 days, we have lost two civil rights giants, Rep. John Lewis and C.T. Vivian. We all have such a huge debt and responsibility for the work done on this nation’s behalf by these men. In periods of great turmoil, they stepped forward to lead. Many of us run from the responsibility to speak up for our fellow man, to give voice to the unheard, and risk our personal well-being for others. These men walked into the line of fire, many a day, so that the rest of us could walk in the sunshine. Rest in Peace, My Heroes. We will continue the fight!
