About the Silver Mill Court Shopping Center: The Silver Mill Court is the home to many small, cultural local businesses. Ranging from Jamaican Cuisine, African Hair Braiding, a well-known Italian Food Chain, Buddy’s Pizza to the Department of Motor Vehicles and several social service agencies. Also being the home to local grocery store, the Shopping Center services a range of demographics of people from Milwaukee and surrounding areas.
About Paparazzi: The children of the owners, Shala (15), Davonte (10) and RoMello (9), had the desire to become entrepreneurs. Being in a household that loves ice cream year-round, they wanted an ice cream cart to sell ice cream in variety of flavors. While searching for a mobile cooler, a Fried Ice Cream Machine was stumbled upon. Their parents purchased the machine, they practiced and perfected their craft in their living room then became licensed through the state of Wisconsin to sell at events and fairs. After sharing pics of ice cream from a few events, the request and inquires scoured social media asking where to purchase. Soon after, a location was found and the rest is history. “We love to bring the creativity out of customers, including kids. They be surprised and love the taste they come up with when they build a selfie! That’s what make our customer stars to us, and it deserves a picture.” –Davonte (10)
