Onesto (221 N. Broadway, Milwaukee) has long been well-regarded for its scratch-made Italian cuisine. This coming Saturday, November 17, Onesto is proud to launch a playful and elegant brunch experience that is unlike what is seen anywhere else in the city. Utilizing and inspired by traditional Italian methods and flavors, but executed in untraditional applications, brunch at Onesto is designed to be a little bit surprising.

Featuring specialty items such as a Scallop Benedict, Seared Polenta with poached eggs and Bolognese, Bruleed Bread Pudding with basil mascarpone, Wild Mushroom Ragu, Spaghetti Squash Frittata, and Waffles and Gelato (among many others), every item has been chosen to be unique and provide opportunities for our guests to engage with their dining experience.

“Introducing these unique brunch items creates another opportunity to share Onesto’s honest Italian cooking with the city, and I couldn’t be more excited,” says Executive Chef Alex Sazama. “My culinary travels throughout the Mediterranean have inspired many of these dishes and I’m eager to interpret those flavors and methods into this delicious menu.”

In addition, the craft cocktail program designed to complement this menu includes items such as housemade shrubs (featured in our Lavender Blue cocktail – a blueberry lavender shrub with housemade limoncello, peach brizzard and seltzer) and infused vodkas (featured in our Onesto Bloody Mary – a basil and garlic infused vodka with housemade mix and an Italian skewer garnish). Onesto will serve cocktails both individually and in carafes to encourage sharing and sampling as well.

Brunch will be served Saturdays and Sundays from 10-3. Onesto is located at 221 N. Broadway in Milwaukee’s Third Ward. More information on the restaurant can be found at OnestoMKE.com or on social media at @OnestoMKE
