Hopefully murder charges will be forthcoming. Police Chief Norman–why were outside police officers not given perimeters in what they could or could not do–especially since they were not near the RNC? They are clearly not familiar with how we handle mental health issues nor other non-violent means of managing conflicts between residents. Do these outside officers not value life because these individuals were Black? Do not sweep this under the rug.
Thank you Ohio Police for security in Milwaukees dangerous neighborhoods. A lack of respect for law enforcement, simple obeying an officers words ” to stop one’s own actions, ” goes to the next level of common sense behavior from Milwaukee residents. People think they can be in charge when a police officer is taking control of a argument between two people, one with two knives drawn.
Hopefully the Ohio police officer will not get railroaded like his brother in the George Floyd case. BLUE LIVES MATTER
Joel, I feel sorry for someone who is obviously so clueless about our city and our neighborhoods. I’m sure you believe any where where people of color might live is dangerous. You are part of the problem.
Police officers should be de-escalating situations, not ganging up on someone who is having a mental health issue and certainly far beyond threatening anyone’s life with two little knives. When multiple officers who don’t take the time to find out what is going on and all start shooting because of course–it’s a Black man so it must be dangerous–these are officers who don’t deserve their uniform.
If you think the officers responsible for George Floyd’s death were railroaded–well I hope you get what you deserve.
STOP JUSTIFIED IMMUNITY–TOO MANY ROGUE POLICE MURDERING OUR CITIZENS!
Joel Paplham you sound more like a purveyor of hate and racism than a “Counselor of Peace.” Is it blind ignorance or are you part of the Trump lemming show?
