Resident Shoots Intruder in Milwaukee Home Break-In; Investigation Underway
Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at approximately 9:56 a.m., on the 5200 block of North 67th Street. A 37-year-old male broke into a residence and was shot by the resident. He was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment and was taken into custody. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. No other injuries were reported. Charges will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
