North Shore Bank Launches Mortgage Program for Community Heroes Amid Housing Surge

By - May 11th, 2021 03:22 pm

Brookfield, Wis. –North Shore Bank today announced its new Hero Lending Program, designed to specifically recognize and serve heroes in its communities throughout Wisconsin. The custom program offers a set interest rate of 2.99 with only a 2.99% down payment that can be gifted.

Qualifying occupations under Hero include any employee of a medical care facility, fire department, public or private educational institution, or federal, state or local government law enforcement agency, as well as nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics and active or former military personnel.

“We saw through the pandemic that heroes come in all forms, and we wanted to create a low interest, low down payment program that would help them now focus on their needs such as a housing investment in our communities.” said Chris Boland, vice president consumer lending manager of North Shore Bank. “We already know the housing market is especially competitive right now and we’re hoping this program can ease that process and help our heroes get into the home of their choice.”
