New Art Studio, Shop and Gallery coming to Riverwest Neighborhood

Grand Opening Celebration will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025

Milwaukee, WI – July 8, 2025 – The Riverwest neighborhood welcomes River Press, a new art studio, shop and gallery featuring exclusively Milwaukee-local artists run by local printmaker Mya Giuliani. A grand opening celebration will be held at River Press on Saturday, August 2 from 11:00 – 7:00 p.m. The event will feature coffee by pop-up shop Ella’s Café, a tintype photographer and an exclusive tattoo flash event in partnership with Riverwest tattoo shop Patchwork Collective. River Press is located at 2351 N. Humboldt Avenue, just north of the Humboldt/North intersection. Look for the distinctive yellow door on the west side of the street. riverpressmke.com

At the new art studio, shop and gallery, what visitors will find is art that is accessible, cool, fun and features some local favorite creators from events like Riverwest Rummage and Punk Rock Rummage Sale with over 40 local artists selling work. River Press’s Micro Gallery will feature miniature solo shows rotating every three months from local artists, starting with Life Should Make More Sense Than This by MIAD graduate and Riverwest artist Sarah Jane Sutterfield.
