National coalition convenes in Milwaukee to uplift early childhood efforts
StriveTogether, a national movement working to help every child succeed in school and in life from cradle to career, regardless of race, ethnicity, zip code or circumstance, is convening in Milwaukee on May 10 and 11 to connect, share learning, and collaborate around kindergarten readiness and early childhood education outcomes. In total, representatives from 12 communities of the StriveTogether Cradle to Career Network are participating in the two-day event.
The two-day convening is designed for communities to take collaborative action to shift practices, policies, resources, and power structures to advance work and scale impact in communities and across the country. In partnership with nearly 70 communities across the country, StriveTogether provides resources, best practices and processes to give every child every chance for success. The StriveTogether Cradle to Career Network reaches 14 million young people, including 8 million children of color and nearly one in five children experiencing poverty in the United States.
