The Multicultural Entrepreneurial Institute Incorporated is thrilled to announce the commencement of its 4th Entrepreneurial Leadership Pipeline program, scheduled to run from February 17th to noon for 14 weeks. This groundbreaking program has successfully empowered 56 enthusiastic young Latinos and Latinas by instilling in them a culturally relevant entrepreneurial mindset, honing their leadership skills, and providing essential business training. The program’s realization has been made possible through a competitive grant provided by the Greater Wisconsin Opportunity Fund.

The Entrepreneurial Leadership Pipeline program offers comprehensive training to young adults, encompassing vital components such as mindset cultivation, business coaching, and the invaluable opportunity for paid internships. As a token of appreciation for their dedication and completion of the program, all participants are rewarded with a stipend. A captivating business plan competition is held, and the top three performers are awarded scholarships to fuel their dreams of either venturing into entrepreneurship or pursuing higher education. In an inspiring collaboration with Erie Insurance, 30 program participants have also been presented with Chromebooks and various other prizes courtesy of small business owners, including school supplies, gift certificates, and more.

Having positively transformed the lives of 56 young adults, this program is committed to continuing its mission by supporting another cohort of eager students on their journey toward personal growth and success. Axel Ortega, a program participant currently interning in the Latino Entrepreneurial Network as a Client Service Coordinator, attests to the program’s impact on his life. Axel has not only been accepted by three prestigious universities but has also chosen to enroll in the Milwaukee School of Engineering to pursue a career in mechanical engineering.

Dr. Nelson Soler, program director, and creator, underscores the program’s overarching goal: “Our mission is to ensure that our youth are well-informed about the myriad of opportunities available to them and are equipped with the tools to navigate the challenges that may arise in their entrepreneurial journeys. Entrepreneurship demands a harmonious alignment of one’s passion, purpose, and values, coupled with meticulous planning.”

High school students with aspirations for a brighter future are strongly encouraged to apply and be part of this transformative experience.
