MSA Rises to No. 267 on ENR Top 500 Design Firms List
MADISON, Wisc. (May 5, 2026) – The Engineering News-Record (ENR) recently released its Top 500 Engineering Design Firms list for 2026, in which MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) claims position No. 267 — up from position No. 288 in 2025. This marks the 28th year the company has earned a spot in the ranks, recognition of the top one-half of one percent of over 100,000 design firms in the United States.
ENR is widely regarded as the industry authority on providing news, analysis and data from the design and construction industries worldwide. The Top 500 list is an annual ranking of the largest U.S.-based firms, both publicly and privately held, based on design-specific revenue reported in the previous year. An accompanying report outlines industry challenges, trends, and success metrics. Early 2026 indications from the associated Top 500 report point to an AI-driven infrastructure boom that is fueling revenue growth while somewhat straining resources and delivery capacity. As more clients are looking to advance digital design and optimize the project lifecycle, firms are responding competitively while also adapting to materials shortages, shifting federal policy changes, and funding uncertainties.
