Morning Glory Art Fair Returning this Summer
Event Supports Artist Community Hit Hard by Pandemic
MILWAUKEE (Jan. 13, 2021) – Good news, Milwaukee! A signature outdoor summer event is returning this August. The 46th annual Morning Glory Art Fair will take place Saturday and Sunday, Aug 14-15, on the plaza in front of Fiserv Forum.
The Morning Glory Art Fair is a nationally-recognized show that features fine craft and art from 130 talented artists from around the country. Each artist is individually juried into the fair, based on a committee review of their portfolio. The stringent review process ensures the highest level of fine craft and art are presented at Morning Glory.
Morning Glory is free and open to the public and regularly draws 12,000 attendees. The show moved to the plaza in front of Fiserv Forum in 2019. The Morning Glory Art Fair is hosted by the Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council (WDCC), one of the oldest fine craft organizations in the country.
Morning Glory features art in 12 categories, including ceramics, digital art, jewelry, photography and sculpture.
Based on CDC and Milwaukee Health Department guidelines at the time, the art fair will implement appropriate COVID safety protocols.
