Milwaukee Police Investigate Double Shooting After Argument Escalates into Gunfight

Milwaukee Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at approximately 3:20 a.m., on the 800 block of W. Somers Street. The victim was involved in an argument/fight when both parties contact other individuals that engaged in a gunfight. The victim and a suspect from the other party were struck by gunfire. MPD officers observed a vehicle flee the area and made a stop. The vehicle was occupied by the victim and two other occupants. The victim, a 36-year-old, was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. A firearm was recovered and the other two occupants of the vehicle, a 48-year-old man and a 51-year-old man, were arrested. The suspect/victim #2, a 35-year-old man, arrived at a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries and was arrested. The investigating is ongoing. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
