MILWAUKEE; December 12, 2024 – On Wednesday, December 18th, Milwaukee PBS Channel 10 will broadcast our newest documentary Rebuilding Milwaukee’s Trinity Lutheran Church.  In May of 2018, a devastating fire nearly erased 150 years of heritage of this Milwaukee historic church and landmark.

“For over 4 years, our camera crews have followed the restoration efforts, from the vision of the architects and engineers, and the skilled hands of the artisans, rebuilding and restoring a Milwaukee legacy” said Debbie Hamlett, General Manager of Milwaukee PBS. “We would like to thank the Trinity Lutheran Church for the unprecedented access allowed to our crews in creating this documentary.”

Our programming on December 18th begins at 8pm on Milwaukee PBS Channel 10 with NOVA: Lost Tombs of Notre Dame. This NOVA special examines lost tombs discovered during the restoration of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, which was engulfed in flames in April of 2019. The Lost Tombs of Notre Dame is followed at 9pm by Rebuilding Milwaukee’s Trinity Lutheran Church. Then, at 9:30pm, Milwaukee PBS will have the NOVA special Rebuilding Notre Dame. There will also be an encore of Rebuilding Milwaukee’s Trinity Lutheran Church at 10:30pm.  Rebuilding Milwaukee’s Trinity Lutheran Church will also be available on the free PBS App starting on December 18.
