Milwaukee Nonprofits Invited to Apply for $45k Reach Grant

Additional one-time funding also available for high-impact projects

MILWAUKEE (June 20, 2025) – The Real Estate Alliance for Charity (REACH) today announced that applications are open for its 2025 Charitable Giving Program, which awards a three-year grant totaling $45,000 to a Wisconsin-based nonprofit that provides direct services to children and families. The deadline to apply is Friday, July 25, 2025.

REACH is the primary charitable organization for the commercial real estate community in Southeast Wisconsin, supported by local CRE professionals and businesses as well as a coalition of associations, including BOMA, CARW, CCIM, NAIOP, SIOR, IREM and WCREW. Since 1998, the organization has donated nearly $1 million to dozens of local nonprofits.

Each year, REACH selects one nonprofit to receive $15,000 annually for three years, for a total donation of $45,000. The organization’s intent is to have a significant impact on smaller organizations that may sometimes be overlooked by larger foundations and programs. Current recipients include Fondy Food Center, PEARLS for Teen Girls and Walker’s Point Youth & Family Center.

In addition to the flagship Charitable Giving Program, REACH will also distribute one-time High Impact Grants in 2025. These flexible grants—typically up to $5,000—are designed for immediate needs or opportunities aligned with REACH’s mission to improve the lives of those in need, especially children, through financial and in-kind support from Wisconsin’s commercial real estate community. Past recipients include Sweet Abilities, Meta House, Prevent Blindness and others.

“REACH exists to support the incredible work being done by small but mighty nonprofits that serve youth and families across Wisconsin,” said Rob Habich, REACH President and Chief Legal Officer at Marquee Capital. “We’re honored to be a bridge between the commercial real estate industry and organizations that are positively impacting the lives of those in our community.”
