Milwaukee County Parks Announces Opening of 2025 Golf Season
Milwaukee, WI – Milwaukee County Parks is thrilled to announce that all 13 of its golf courses are officially open for the 2025 season, weather permitting. This year, golfers of all skill levels are invited to experience the best in public golf with a variety of courses designed to cater to everyone from beginners to professional players.
Record-Breaking 2024 Season
Exciting New Upgrades and Amenities
This season, golf enthusiasts will be pleased to discover numerous enhancements across our golf facilities. Highlights include:
- Dretzka Park Golf Course: The pro shop at Dretzka has undergone a complete remodel with new flooring, lighting, and an expanded merchandise area. The course now features continuous asphalt cart paths and several new forward tee boxes, making it an ideal location for both daily play and larger golf outings.
- Brown Deer Park Golf Course: Known for hosting the PGA Tour’s Greater Milwaukee Open, Brown Deer will debut a new 20,000 sq ft practice green in the summer of 2025. This state-of-the-art facility will include large chipping areas and a comprehensive practice bunker, perfect for golfers looking to improve their game. Additionally, renovations to the practice range’s teeing area have enhanced the turf conditions, further establishing Brown Deer as a premier golfing destination.
