Milwaukee Bucks To Tip Off Black History Month With Black Excellence Game On Sunday, Feb. 2, Vs. Memphis Grizzlies

MILWAUKEE (Jan. 31, 2025) – The Milwaukee Bucks will tip off Black History Month with their Black Excellence Game, presented by Hennessy, on Sunday, Feb. 2, when they host the Memphis Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. at Fiserv Forum. Throughout the game, the Bucks will celebrate the next generation of Black Excellence by spotlighting young professionals and their contributions to the Milwaukee community.

Beginning today, a special Black History Month T-shirt will be available throughout February at the Bucks Pro Shop at Fiserv Forum and online HERE while supplies last. A portion of the T-shirt’s proceeds will benefit Cream Skills, a local organization that builds character, develops life skills, fosters entrepreneurship and works to prevent violence through a co-ed youth basketball league.

Fans at Sunday’s game can learn about local nonprofit organizations and volunteer opportunities at a nonprofit showcase outside Section 201. The participating organizations include Cream Skills, America’s Black Holocaust Museum, Professional Dimensions, The Community and African American Chamber of Commerce.

Each Bucks home game in February will feature “Lift Every Voice and Sing” before to the national anthem, performed by local musicians. Cream Skills will also be highlighted during Sunday’s game with its Hall of Fame Game taking place on the court at halftime. Fans at February home games will hear unique DJs throughout Fiserv Forum as the Bucks showcase local artists this month. The DJs scheduled for Sunday’s game are DJ Nic Stokes, DJ Stretch, DJ Fly Ty, DJ Style, DJ Mixxchelle and DJ Brotha Z.

The Bucks will celebrate Black History Month and continue to share stories of Black Excellence throughout the month of February. The team will wear special league-issued warmups at each game this month, and the Bucks will celebrate HBCU Night on Thursday, Feb. 20, vs. the Los Angeles Clippers. The Bucks and Hennessy will also debut this season’s edition of the annual Invest Black MKE series on Thursday, Feb. 27.
