Milwaukee Bucks Team up with Verizon to Support Veteran Debt Relief

Bucks to support “Vebt,” Verizon’s Veteran Debt Relief Program

MILWAUKEE (Dec. 2, 2024) – The Milwaukee Bucks have teamed up with Verizon to support Verizon’s veteran debt relief program, “Vebt,” which erases $1 million in debt for local veterans in partnership with ForgiveCo.

“Supporting our country’s veterans is at the core of Verizon’s mission,” said Andy Brady, Verizon Great Lakes Market President. “The Bucks have deep roots in the Milwaukee community and this partnership amplifies our shared commitment to giving back to those who have sacrificed.”

During the month of December, Verizon will donate $250,000 per week to alleviate veteran debt. The Bucks will provide updates on the program throughout the month via the team’s social media accounts.

Verizon will continue its support of veterans by providing a special offer to all veterans and active-duty military members. Eligible members can receive a $50 bill credit when they activate a new smartphone line on select plans.
