Milwaukee Bucks Expand Partnership with GFL Environmental

MILWAUKEE (Nov. 11, 2024) – The Milwaukee Bucks have expanded their partnership with GFL Environmental, the Official Disposal Partner of the Bucks and Fiserv Forum. The environmental services company will become a sustainability partner of the Bucks to support the organization’s sustainability initiatives.

As part of the partnership, GFL Environmental will install cobranded trash and recycling receptacles throughout Fiserv Forum. The new receptacles will provide information to educate fans about recycling and promote the Bucks and GFL Environmental’s sustainability efforts. Each receptacle will clearly identify what content belongs in each bin, helping guests do their part to recycle properly.

GFL Environmental’s new MRF, located in Horicon, WI, was designed to handle an increased volume of recyclable materials as well as adapt to Wisconsin’s future recycling needs. The facility can recycle mixed paper, corrugated cardboard, newspaper, PET, HDPE natural, HDPE color, polypropylene, aluminum cans, glass, steel, scrap metal and bulky, rigid plastics. GFL Environmental is also a leader in recycling education and offers public tours of the new facility to raise public awareness of the best recycling practices.
