Milwaukee Bucks Acquire Draft Rights to Andre Jackson Jr. from Orlando Magic
Bucks also select Chris Livingston with 58th overall pick in 2023 NBA Draft
MILWAUKEE (June 22, 2023) – The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired the draft rights to Andre Jackson Jr., the 36th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, from the Orlando Magic in exchange for a 2030 second-round draft pick and cash considerations. The Bucks also selected Chris Livingston with the 58th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
A New York native, Jackson Jr. appeared in 81 games in three seasons with the Huskies, helping them reach the NCAA Tournament three times while posting a 69-26 (.726) overall record.
Livingston, a 6-6, 220-pound forward, earned 2022-23 All-SEC Freshman Team honors last season with Kentucky after averaging 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in 22.3 minutes per game. A McDonald’s All-American, Jordan Brand Classic All-American and consensus five-star recruit as a senior in high school, Livingston went on to appear in 34 games, starting 26, as a freshman with the Wildcats and reached double figures in scoring seven times. The Akron, Ohio native also earned 2022 Virginia Player of the Year and 2021 Ohio Player of the Year honors during his high school career.
