MILWAUKEE, WI – The Milwaukee Area Labor Council AFL-CIO has endorsed Jack Eckblad for Milwaukee County Board, renewing its support for Eckblad as he seeks another term representing the working families of District 4.

The Milwaukee Area Labor Council represents tens of thousands of union members across the region and advocates for policies that support working families, strong communities, and economic fairness.

Eckblad said he is proud to once again earn the support of organized labor.

“Labor built Milwaukee, and working people deserve leaders who will stand with them,” Eckblad said. “I’m honored to have the support of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council again, and I will continue fighting to strengthen workers’ rights, support strong public services, and push back against privatization that undermines our communities.”

During his time on the County Board, Eckblad has been a consistent advocate for policies that protect workers, strengthen public services, and ensure Milwaukee County remains accountable to the people who live and work here.

The Milwaukee Area Labor Council endorsed Eckblad in his previous campaign, citing his commitment to working people and his willingness to stand up for labor priorities.

“Any worker who wants a real say in our local government’s priorities should vote in both the primary and the general election,” said Pam Fendt, President of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council, when announcing their initial endorsement.
