MIAD’s Annual Sale of Student and Alumni Art & Design Work, December 5 – 7
Proceeds from the MIAD Holiday Sale support the nearly 150 participating artists and designers, and benefit MIAD student scholarships.
MILWAUKEE (November 12, 2019) … The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) hosts the 9th annual MIAD Holiday Sale – a sale of student and alumni art and design work – December 5 – 7, 2019 at MIAD’s 4th Floor Raw Space, 273 E. Erie St. For the second year, the sale has extended shopping hours on Saturday, Dec. 5. A record number of artists and designers are participating in this year’s sale.
Proceeds from the MIAD Holiday Sale support the nearly 150 participating artists and designers, and benefit MIAD student scholarships.
At the MIAD Holiday Sale, a holiday tradition held every year during the first weekend of December, visitors can shop thousands of one-of-a-kind art and design creations from emerging and established artists and designers at all price points.
Gifts available include sculptures, paintings, furniture, greeting cards, ornaments, jewelry, keychains, ceramics, desk calendars, lamps and more.
- Preview Night: Thurs., Dec. 5, 6 – 9 p.m.; admission is $10. Tickets are available to purchase at the door.
- Free admission: Fri., Dec. 6, 5 – 9 p.m. and Sat., Dec. 7, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The MIAD Holiday Sale annually draws more than 1,000 visitors to MIAD’s campus in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. The sale coincides with the Historic Third Ward’s Christmas in the Ward celebration.
