Metcalfe Park to Celebrate New Community Fridge with Ribbon Cutting at Tricklebee Café
The community fridge, funded through a One MKE community grant, will be filled with donations of fresh produce and healthy food items donated from local farms, organizations and community members. It will be free for anyone in need during the café’s open hours. The project aims to provide immediate food access while inspiring future long-term community solutions. With the hope to be used as a template for a sustainable community fridge in other neighborhoods.
