Merchant Named Head of Account Management at Laughlin Constable, Bringing 18 Years of Marketing Leadership to Midwest Agency
Independent agency taps former Havas leader; first executive leadership hire under Laughlin Constable's new CEO
CHICAGO (Jan. 17, 2023) – Laughlin Constable (LC), the independent, full-service creative agency, today announced it has named Amy Merchant as EVP, Head of Account Management. Merchant has more than 18 years of branding and marketing leadership and is the first executive hire under LC’s new CEO Anthony Romano who joined the agency in Fall 2022.
Most recently, Merchant was managing director of Havas Chicago where she was responsible for driving client growth and delivering best in class service and breakthrough work for clients. She has worked across advertising and marketing on both the agency and client side honing her expertise in brand strategy, integrated planning, demand generation, strategic leadership and operational management. Clients and brands she has represented include The National Association of REALTORS®, AutoZone, FTD, Lowe’s, ConAgra, Michelin, Bel Brands, Fortune Brands Innovations/Moen, Carbonite and Northwestern Medicine.
