MAC To Host Teach-in Event Today on War Propaganda and Astronautics

This upcoming Sunday, January 28th from 3-4:30pm, the Milwaukee Anti-war Committee (MAC) will host a teach-in at Cactus Club (2496 S Wentworth Ave) on the ties between war propaganda here in the U.S. and how the Astronautics Corporation of America is responsible for dealing in genocide, from Palestine to Korea.

Astronautics Corporation of America supplies integrated systems, advanced flat-panel displays, and digital avionics equipment for commercial and military aircrafts, and is headquartered in Oak Creek, WI. Astronautics has two subsidiaries in Israel, Astronautics C.A. Ltd. and CIELO Ltd, Israel. The direct ties between Israel and Astronautics must be called out for what it is: profiting off of genocide.

“Most people are not aware of this company’s existence and if they see the name it’s unlikely people would immediately guess it has any connection to the US military or Israeli Occupation Force. While it does not have the same level of infamy as something like Lockheed Martin, it is an important manufacturer for US and Israeli military equipment and directly supports the Israeli occupation of Palestine,” – Evelyn Schumann, member of the MAC

We will also dive into the history of war propaganda here in the U.S. and its insidious application to justify war and conflict around the world. Masterfully refined by the military industrial complex, propaganda here in the U.S. has played a role in drumming support for proxy wars all over the world.
