Leah Hits All 72 Counties On Her Wisconsin Way Tour
"The support I am receiving in each of Wisconsin’s 72 counties is incredibly encouraging."
Menominee, Wis. — Nurse and U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir, R–Brookfield, checked off the final county on her 72-county Wisconsin Way tour Monday evening with a meet-and-greet event in Dunn County.
“The support I am receiving in each of Wisconsin’s 72 counties is incredibly encouraging,” Leah said. “As I run for U.S. Senate, my goal isn’t to impress people from the swamp. I’m focused on meeting Wisconsin veterans, farmers, teachers and small business owners and earning their trust and support for my campaign.
“Across the state, I’ve heard that people want a U.S. Senator who will deliver — just like I have with Scott Walker here in Wisconsin. Wisconsinites are sick and tired of seeing some alleged Republicans fail them when they have the chance to actually make a difference. Because I’ve voted for $8 billion in tax cuts, collective bargaining reform and banning late-term abortions, voters know they can trust me to go and vote to build the wall, defund Planned Parenthood and protect our Constitutional rights.”
Leah’s tour to visit all 72 counties began on January 1. Over the last four days, Leah met with voters in Milwaukee, Menominee, Langlade, Taylor, Lincoln, Marathon, Wood, Lafayette, Green, Sauk, Ashland, Iron, Bayfield, Sawyer, Dunn, and Eau Claire counties. She has put more than 59,000 miles on her car since testing the waters.
Leah Vukmir is a nurse, military mom and conservative with a proven record who has stood with Gov. Walker in cutting taxes and implementing bold reforms. She is running for the U.S. Senate to bring the Wisconsin Way to Washington. She currently serves as a state senator from Brookfield.
