MILWAUKEE (January 16th, 2024) – Lakefront Brewery is excited to introduce a monthly showcase of local artists and makers! Handcrafted is a new endeavor from Lakefront, a way to celebrate art and the people who make it. “I make artisan soap”, says Ali Ayres, event organizer and Lakefront Kitchen Manager. “I realized there’s probably other people making cool things too and we have the space here to give everyone a platform to promote it”.

On Sunday, January 28th, from 11am to 3pm, Lakefront will open its doors to 18 hand-selected and unique crafters to be able to promote and sell their work. Lakefront isn’t charging any fees to be there so all support will go directly to bolster their profits. The brewery will be providing their normal run of food and beverages as well as a Bloody Mary bar, coffee station, and an array of flavored New Grist varieties (their gluten-free pilsner with a splash of gourmet syrup).

A brewery that rallies around innovation and is known for its art installations, Lakefront hopes creative outlets can continue to nurture forward-thinking pioneers and lead to the next generation of trailblazers.  They also note that they plan to welcome in new vendors each month, so every market offers something fresh and exciting. New vendor submissions are currently closed but follow Lakefront Brewery on social media to find out when they will open back up.

Lakefront Brewery, Inc. distributes its products to over 30 states, Ukraine, and Canada. Lakefront Brewery is the first brewery in Wisconsin and 22nd brewery in the world to be certified as a B Corporation. Lakefront Brewery also produced the first beer in the United States made from 100% in-state-grown ingredients, including a first-of-its-kind, indigenous Wisconsin yeast strain (Wisconsinite Summer Weiss), the first certified organic brewery and the first gluten-free beer granted approval by the U.S. Government (New Grist).
