MILWAUKEE, WI (January 10, 2023) – WISN 12 is naming Kristin Pierce as the station’s new co-anchor of WISN 12 News at 5:00 p.m., effective immediately. She will join long-time WISN 12 anchor Patrick Paolantonio and Milwaukee’s Chief Meteorologist Mark Baden.

“Kristin has quickly become a fixture not only at WISN 12 but also across Southeastern Wisconsin,” says Jan Wade, president and general manager of WISN 12. “From her natural instincts in journalism to her captivating skills in storytelling, she’s a wonderful fit for this newscast.”

In addition to her new role as co-anchor of WISN 12 News at 5:00 p.m., she will continue to serve as co-anchor of WISN 12 News at 4:00 p.m., alongside WISN 12’s Derrick Rose and Mark Baden. Pierce first started working at WISN 12 as a weekend evening news anchor in March 2022.

Before joining WISN 12, Pierce was an anchor and reporter at WHAS 11 in Louisville, Kentucky, an anchor and reporter at WWL-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana, and a reporter at WXYZ/WMYD in Detroit, Michigan.
