Joplin Playing In NABC All-Star Game at Final Four

CBS Sports Network features 3:30 p.m. CT television broadcast

Rosters have been announced for the 2025 NABC-Reese’s Division I College All-Star Game, featuring top senior talent from NCAA Division I, including Marquette senior David Joplin.

The All-Star game will take place on Friday, April 4 at 3:30 p.m. CT at the Alamodome as part of Reese’s Final Four Friday. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network, and admission to the game and Reese’s Final Four Friday is free.

Two NABC-member coaches will be announced as the game’s head coaches soon.

Joplin’s Career Highlights

  • 2024-25 All-BIG EAST Third Team selection
  • Didn’t miss a game (139) in career and finished as Marquette’s all-time leader in games played
  • Became 54th player in MU history with 1,000 career points with 19-point effort at Xavier (12/21/24), finished 27th (1,306)
  • Led all scorer’s with 28 points on 9-of-15 shooting, including six treys, vs. New Mexico (3/21/25)
  • Shot 7-of-9 from the floor and finished with 21 points, six rebounds, three assists and two blocks vs. St. John’s (3/8/25)
  • Scored team-high 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting at UConn (3/5/25) and added five rebounds in 40 minutes
  • Narrowly missed double-double at Georgetown (3/1/25) finishing with 17 points and nine rebounds
  • Scored career-high 30 points on 9-of-17 shooting at DePaul (1/14/25), including 7-of-13 effort from behind 3-point line
  • Finished with 27 points on 10-of-12 shooting against Stonehill (11/27/24), including 4-of-5 from deep
  • Netted 29 points on 9-of-17 shooting vs. Georgia (11/23/24), including 6-of-11 from deep
  • Scored game-high 27 points and added 10 rebounds in win over George Mason (11/8/24) for second-career double-double (19 points and 10 boards came in second half)
  • Started all 37 games in 2023-24 and finished among the league leaders in 3-point shooting
  • Collected first-career double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds (career-best) in win over WKU (3/22/24)
  • Made first career start in season opener vs. NIU (11/6/2) after 68 games as a reserve to begin his career
  • BIG EAST Sixth Man Award winner in 2022-23
  • Named to BIG EAST Conference All-Tournament Team
  • Appeared off the bench in all 36 games and finished ninth in the league in 3-point percentage (.399)
  • Averaged 25.6 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest as a senior at Brookfield Central High School in 2020-21
  • Major: Communications Studies, Minor: Sport Management
