Johnson Calls Tax Cut for Wisconsin Families “Economic or Social Engineering”
Madison, Wis. — As Wisconsin families start receiving the Child Tax Credit (CTC) this Thursday, Ron Johnson is slamming the landmark tax cut as “economic or social engineering.” While Johnson is opposed to a tax cut that helps families, he had no concerns casting the deciding vote on the 2017 GOP tax scam that helped his personal business.
The Child Tax Credit will help nearly 1.2 million Wisconsin children, including lifting almost 50,000 kids out of poverty.
