JoAnna Bautch Announces Candidacy for State Assembly
MILWAUKEE – Today, JoAnna Bautch announced her candidacy to serve as the next State Representative for Wisconsin’s 8th Assembly District.
“Like many communities in our state, Milwaukee’s near south side is full of neighbors who care about one another, work hard, and want to live a good life. We are a vibrant community with an exciting future, but we are also not without our challenges,” said JoAnna Bautch.
“I am excited to formally announce my candidacy to serve as our 8th District State Representative because I believe, by working together, we can make real progress for our community on the issues that matter most.”
“We can make our community healthier, ensure a quality education for all of our children, keep our neighborhoods safe, and create more economic opportunity for everyone. We need leaders who are going to put people first and take on the tough challenges we face. I’m ready to work for the community on day one!”
The primary election will be held on August 11th, 2020 and the general election will be held on November 3rd, 2020.
