(MADISON) — Today Donald Trump endorsed Ron Johnson for Senate. Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler issued the following statement in response:

“It might be Ron Johnson’s birthday, but Donald Trump’s endorsement is a gift to Democrats. Johnson should spare us all the ongoing embarrassment and resign.”
