Inflation Numbers Increase Costs for Wisconsinites, Thanks to Tiffany’s Rubber Stamp
MADISON, Wis. — New inflation numbers show that Wisconsinites are paying $2,267 more on average for everyday essentials since Trump took office, $549 more for housing and $390 more for transportation. Tom Tiffany has rubber-stamped Trump’s entire cost-raising agenda, voting with him 100% of the time, including in support of tariffs and the illegal war with Iran. Gas prices are also up on average—$36.34 per month for cars and $53.37 for trucks.
“Tom Tiffany has been a rubber stamp for Donald Trump’s cost-raising agenda that has made day-to-day living more expensive for Wisconsinites,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Emily Stuckey. “Even as Wisconsin families quite literally pay the price for his agenda that has raised daily costs by thousands of dollars, Tiffany continues to prioritize loyalty to Trump over hardworking Wisconsinites.”
