Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) Presents Milwaukee County Sheriff Richard Schmidt

Sheriff Richard Schmidt is the former senior commander of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, who took over when previous Sheriff, David A. Clarke Jr., resigned in August, 2017.

Brookfield, Wis. – May 29, 2018 – The Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) hosts Milwaukee County Sheriff Richard Schmidt on Friday, June 15, 2018, 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Event will be held at Wisconsin Club, 900 W Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis. A plated breakfast is served.

Sheriff Richard Schmidt is the former senior commander of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, who took over when previous Sheriff, David A. Clarke Jr., resigned in August, 2017. Schmidt immediately pushed several new initiatives to chart his own course in the office.

Since 1973, the Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) was formed for small business owners to engage in conversation relating to legislation impacting the bottom-line costs of businesses throughout Wisconsin. IBAW is a venue for high level CEOs, CFOs, COOs, other upper management and entrepreneurs to network, exchange business ideas, and become educated and involved on issues which impact their business. IBAW is time well spent!

    So what was this organization’s position on former sheriff Clark and his handling of county law enforcement?
    Where was this no# 2 guy Schmidt during Clark’s years in office, sitting quietly in the backroom waiting his turn, to see if it would ever come up?
    Do the deputy sheriff support Schmidt?
