In Tariff Lover Tom Tiffanys First Interview As Gov Candidate, He Doubles Down on Love for Tariffs

MADISON, Wis. — Tom Tiffany just announced his candidacy for governor in a radio interview, where he doubled down on his support for the GOP’s tariff taxes. Tiffany was asked point blank if he supports Trump’s tariff policies, to which he said “I support them.”

“Tariff Lover Tom Tiffany made clear in his very first interview as governor that he wants to double down on the tariff taxes that are pickpocketing Wisconsin families, making it clear he has no business being our next governor,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Philip Shulman. “While Tom Tiffany enjoys his taxpayer funded lifestyle in DC, the Wisconsinites he’s long forgotten about are the people suffering the most from his support of the GOP’s tariff taxes.”
